Our
Educational Philosophy
Our Mission
The mission of the Boulder
Jewish Day School is educational excellence. We foster a passion for
learning in secular and Judaic studies. We introduce and sustain a joyous
appreciation of Jewish culture, text, and ritual, and instill the highest of
ethical standards. It is our goal to provide a supportive and academically
challenging learning environment that meets the developmental needs of each
student. We serve all members of the greater Boulder community and promote
an atmosphere that respects diversity.

Our Goals
It
is the goal of Boulder Jewish Day School to provide a warm Jewish environment
that nurtures the whole child and enables each one to reach his or her highest
potential. We recognize the unique nature of each student’s aptitudes,
interests, and learning modalities.
The
learning experiences at BJDS empower children to acquire knowledge and academic
skills in a variety of disciplines. Students are encouraged to develop
intellectual curiosity, experience the excitement of learning, gain
understanding and respect for self and others, and build physical and emotional
well being. At BJDS, children grow to be capable, competent, and caring
individuals. Our students become avid readers, fluent writers, proficient
mathematicians, scientific problem solvers, budding artists, and active members
of the Jewish community.
Future Plans
BJDS is proud to
be a part of the future Boulder Jewish Commons. We look forward to our
lovely new home. More information about the Boulder Jewish Commons,
including updates on the status of the project, can be found
